Eight Sleep Pod's Cover has a size buffer that accommodates small Hong Kong mattress variations. For example, a Hong Kong 5-foot mattress is 152.4 cm wide—2.4 cm wider than the listed 150 cm Pod option—and can use that option. Measure the mattress length and thickness as well as its width.

Convert Hong Kong bed measurements
One inch equals 2.54 cm and one foot equals 30.48 cm. A 5-foot width is 60 inches or 152.4 cm. A 6-foot width is 72 inches or 182.88 cm. Retailers may use feet or inches for the width and a separate length, so record both measurements.

How to choose a full-bed or one-side Cover
For a full-bed Cover, enter the whole mattress width and length in our Pod size finder. For Solo, select one-side coverage: the tool compares half the mattress width with the listed Solo widths. For example, half of 150 cm is 75 cm and half of 180 cm is 90 cm.
The result shows the nearest listed option and the measurement difference. The 2.4 cm extra width of a local 5-foot bed is accommodated by the Cover's buffer. If you have a custom size, share the width, length and thickness with our team for setup advice.
Measure in four steps
- Measure the mattress itself from side to side.
- Measure from head to foot.
- Record the mattress thickness and bed-frame type.
- For Base, record the outside bed-frame dimensions and check doors, lift access and delivery routes.
Plan bedroom and Hub space
A bed frame can be larger than the mattress. Use the bedroom space calculator with the frame's outside dimensions to estimate side and foot gaps. Its walking-clearance setting is a planning preference, not an installation specification. Separately allow for Hub power, connections and ventilation according to the model's instructions.
